CB or Amateur radio its all the same nowadays, a load of folks with nowt
better to do, talking hot air on Th Rig.
Can't remember a radio themed conversation. Technology has overtaken Amateur
radio, they can make rigs by the thousand and they work for years. They are
so cheap one chuck's them in the bin when they break after a few years good
service and buys another.
Last time whilst discussing a simple crystal CW TX and diode detector RX
with 384 audio chip. we were asked to not chat so "high brow" on the
repeater, as it didn't help newcomers feel welcome....

The same as all proper radio amateurs should, in these conditions, use we
went CW,,, on the repeater.
