Actually, Dan, the DSP engine in my IC775 blows the Autek away.
Stagger-tune the twin PBT to attenuate the crud, turn on the APF, and then
gently fondle the RIT. Since you're doing all of this up inside the IF
chain, you make your peace with the AGC-pump syndrome, a tack impossible
with the Autek.

Nice to know.....I have MP and I haven't seen it helping much on a SSB
signal on top of a CW one. Maybe I need to play with it some more.

Or he could QSY and stop jamming our SSB segment with his CW!
