If I was a member I would resign....... Seconded! There's nothing stopping non-members from writing to Ofcom explaining why they're non-members, and making representations as individuals (for example, requesting a review of the current licensing scheme). -- Hil |

By and large, citizens respond to corrupt "leaders" by working longer hours, drinking more alcohol, and blaming the French and the Arabs. OTOH, the opportunity is there for hams to cut out the middlemen and tell the government agency what they want. -- Hil |

You seem to be a Confused Babbler (CBer)
You have just upbraided me for discussing matters of Britland, and now, here you are doing the same, because Ofcom is a Britland institution. (Cross-posted to rec.radio.cb to put you back where you belong; you certainly exhibited Childish Broadcasting (CB) in your recent posts) an Old friend wrote: Hils wrote: There's nothing stopping non-members from writing to Ofcom explaining why they're non-members, and making representations as individuals (for example, requesting a review of the current licensing scheme). well making a gues based on how things in Americe Vsav the ARRL and FCC the indivgual Hams are largely un willing to stand up and say something with some kind of Occifcail scation for it, this si likly why there were about 3000 coment the recent NPRM here in the USA out of 600,000 hams and about 300,000 arrl memebrs |
