Default Command Technologies HF-1250 Documentation?

Does anyone have documentation for a Command Technologies HF-1250
amplifier? I've searching the web with no luck.

I assume that you have contacted Command Technologies (e-mail or phone) and
they have told you they no longer have this documentation?

First Google.com search hit found their web page:
http://www.command1.com/default.asp

Did you also contact QRO Technologies ???
http://www.qrotec.com/

Since the HR-1250 was a Command Amplifier was before Patrick Stein, N8BRA
(Command) and Ray Connin, KB8VU (now QRO) "split of the companies" a few
years ago.

No, I had not tried them, but have now sent off an email to them and
will see what their responce might be.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The HF-1250 used a single 3CPX800A ... so it really is a single tube version
of the HF-2500.

I have not received a reply from Ray at QRO and, no, he has no
documentation for the HF-1250.

Besides the HF-1250 using only one tube there are other differences
between the HF-2500 and HF-1250.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Possible changes to some components for current and power increase.

One tube designs are not always economical -- when the cost to add an
additional tube and parts changes is small (on a unit cost basis) -- you
already have the case, meters, transformer (possibly a bit higher current
ratings) and relays. IF the specific tube used in the amplifier is
inexpensive -- that is usually the deciding factor.

This is veering off the question, but will make a couple of comments
and then drop it.

I've been able, thus far, to determine that the band switch is
different (the HF 1250's is better!) the tank coils are different and
also is the 4:1 transformer (location and size). Oddly enough, the
power supply is the same! The HF 1250 power supply really loafs along.

Another factor, for me, was I don't want to spend the $$$ to put in a
220VAC service and for amps running 500-750 watts (we're talking key
down here) the single tube amp is a good choice. There's more than
just the cost of the amp itself involved.

Now back to my original question.
