I want to build the 1-chip receiver that Steve Hageman describes in EDN Access of 25 September 1997, but am having problems finding the chips. Maybe I'm looking past them. They can be ordered directly from Philips -- as of a couple of years ago anyway. Also, www.findchips.com shows a few vendors that sell them. |

The above link should prove helpful. Future Electronics has a pretty good selection of Philips components. The only catch is that you have to buy a rail of 25 at a time. At the price of $2.65 cach, that isn't too bad. When I buy SA602s, I usually buy 100 at a time. I've got around 100 of the 605s, but who knows where they are. I put them in a safe place, along with the two evaluation boards. Unfortunately, it was too safe of a place! Give Future Electronics a call.............they will be able to help you. If you can find some friends to split the cost with, that always helps. Pete "Rick" wrote in message ... Item #190063731505 on eBay has them right now. $16.50 for 2 pieces |
