It ain't gonna happen. Happens all the time when the sunspot cycle is favorable. Beside, the solar cycle is on it's downward spiral, and skip openings on 29 MHz are going to become few and far between and the cycle deepens. If your local CBer is primarily a "skip" talker, that in itself might take him out. Unfortunately the CB operator will probably think the solution is more power. When he gets an occasional E skip propagation, he'll think he was correct. His use of excessive power will then aggravate the situation. Dee D. Flint, N8UZE |
