tried to find pdf file for data for the devices, but google only found
some japanese or unreadable sites, could somebody please guide me in a
better direction?

==========================
I do have a number of (likely) similar devices (Philips ,made in the
Philippines) type ON4749 (green plastic enclosure with 7 gold plated
pins/wires on a sturdy heatsink with 2 holes) ,which I have been unable to
identify.
However they are physically identical to (also Philips) type BGY80 . This
is a wideband module for Cable TV systems , 40 - 450 MHz, 12.5dB gain, max
flatness +/- 0.2 dB ; output voltage 61.5 dBmV.
