I have a Royal Canadian AF Xmitter, P/N BC-458-A, that I picked up in my
town's recycling center. It has a sticker on it that says it was certified operational in 1953. The frequency range is 5.3 to 7 MHz. Missing are two VT136 tubes. Otherwise it appears to be as prestine as a greater than 50yr old elecyronics gadget can be. It contains two tubes, VT 137 and VT138, as well as a tube shaped 7000KC xtal. If you want it, I will sent it to you for the price of the shipping and for whatever extra you think its worth to you. It hefts at about 5lbs. (?) Reply to this newsgroup if interested. Al |

Hi Al,
I would love to preserve our Canadian heritage :-) For shipping estimate, my postal is V0X 1X0, Rosedale, BC. I'll see if what you come back with is within the budget ;-) -- Gregg "t3h g33k" http://geek.scorpiorising.ca *Ratings are for transistors, tubes have guidelines* |
