Default Carrier Null Adjustment on Icom IC-251A???

I have an Icom 251A 2M all mode rig. I did a mod today to cut back the
power to about 100 mW when I have a transverter connected to it. When
keying up in SSB mode with no audio applied, I get approximately 10 mW
of carrier. I want to null this out to an absolute minimum. I see IC4
on the main board is the balanced modulator. My guess is R270 on the
main board. Can anyone with a service manual confirm this? Thanks!
