come from some dumbass ham operator who don't the law, I'm not going to comment...and besides what if I am?? Why the hell should I waste my time to apply for a license?? HELL I applied seven times and dumbass, THEY will have to explain themselves, but hey your a stupid ham who probably [rant deleted] I'm sure the FCC considered them. Here's how it probably went: Assistant to FCC Section Chief: "Hey, boss, we just got some requests for LPTV waivers from some guy in Illinois named Todd Daugherty." FCC Section Chief: "Todd...who? Oh, yeah...HIM again. Isn't he the guy who calls us all sorts of names on the Internet and brags about being a pirate?" Assistant: "Let me get the file...yeah, that's him, all right. Real pain in the ass. What do you want to do about his requests?" Chief: "File 'em. Right over there (points to big gray object in corner)." Assistant: "But, Chief, that's the paper shredder...oh, I get it (snicker)!" The point, Toad, is that "shall consider" does not mean "must grant." As usual, you read into things what you want them to mean and then you get mad at the world when the world doesn't read them the same way you do. And another, thing, Toad. When dealing with a Federal agency you have to explain yourself to them; they don't have to explain themselves to you. No, it isn't fair, but that's just the way it is. But that's your problem. You just can't accept that there are things you can't control. What do you want to hear??? Tommorrow I'm going to start reading passages out of the Koran. Slow Code said: So when you die in a shootout with the infidel FCC, you get 72 virgins? Does the Koran specify the gender of these virgins? Toad probably interprets the Koran the same way he interprets Part 15 - "it means what I say it means, not what it says." |
