To think that someone would not get involved in amateur radio for over a
decade, if not longer, solely on the basis of a morse code examination
required for privileges 30mhz and below -- given the huge amount of
diversity in the ARS -- is probably one of the saddest, if not most
pathetic, things I've heard in my lifetime.

Why purposely deny yourself years of fun and enjoyment?
