When you see a man or women in uniform, tell them thanks for their service.
It will go a long, long way.

I would have really enjoyed that in the sixties, I am sure it will mean a
lot to them.

be read by our Commander In Chief to a joint session of Congress. Thank you
for your service in the cause of freedom, and God Bless you and your family.
May the memory of all of our comrades who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the
cause of freedom live forever in a place of highest honor. May all of those
who take their freedom for granted never have to know what it is like to live
without it.

That was strong stuff, Hans...I wish more non-military folks
could read it and get a better appreciation of how being in the Armed
Forces is an "all-hands" job.
