I am glad for this comment period with the FCC. I hope everyone will make a
comment, I know I am!

I will be so happy to get my HF Ham access. I have tried many time to learn
code, without any suceess.

I think it's time it was given to me.

Now I can legitimately bitch and complain. I went the Element 1C route,
passed it and got my Extra and access to everything. I guarantee the
voice bands will be filled with nitwits who can pass the theory exams by
rote memorization should they completely eliminate the code requirement.

Doesn't really matter anyhow. Amateur Radio as we know it is under
serious threat from any number of sources. And it has become easier to
communicate with someone via a cable modem or phone line. I regularly
correspond with people in Asia and Europe on the net and it's reliable.

So enjoy it while you can. It won't last long.
