Nice article about MARS in Sept CQ. I may rejoin.

Rejoin.

I wasn't aware that CQ had become a membership organization.

Neither did I. Do you have any news on that matter?

Sure. For lack of a rejoinder, they said you could rejoin.

I just subscribe.

I buy mine at Universal Radio.

That works very well for ostriches.

Depends if there is any content of worth.

Exactly, Mike!

Freedom of speech means Len can post all sorts of stuff here.

Freedom of choice means I don't have to read all of it.

Experience and common sense tells me that the content of his posts isn't worth
my time.

True enough, Jim. But we all fall from time to time into an exchange
with Lenover21.

Kinda like poking an anthill to see what comes out. Ants every time!8^)

Actually irrelevant. Mama Dee doesn't have long enough arms to
wield her spanking paddle again "children" far away. Tsk.

What? no bricks through windows? Slashed tires?

That's too uncouth for Dee. She has more couth.

She makes Pronouncements...sounding like ARRL-southwest.

Miss ARRL Manners?

You got that right. :-)

Proper etty-kett at all times, using "official" How To Act notices.

Needs to work on belligerant Steve.

Nah. Gunnery nurse is a lost cause.

Job fear can drive many over the edge. If one doesn't behave like
'real' hams are 'supposed' to be, they will be fired, downsized, or
outsourced.

Have to go on welfare radio.

Hehehehehe.

I thought so too. I don't see any reason to buy anything from Universal

High prices and the druids who work there. I've gotten better
information from those who work at Radio Shack. No answer would be
better than a wrong answer.

I prefer the friendliness, straight info and better prices of R&L
Electronics in Hamilton. They also have more merchandise in stock.

The term "signal to noise ratio" comes to mind.

True enough, Jim. But we all fall from time to time into an exchange

That doesn't mean we have to keep doing it.

So, as an amateur radio magazine stand, how would you rate them?

And am I still holding at "strike twoooooo!" or has your umpireship called me out?
