Kim, he's not like that on the air. Maybe Dave should go back to
giving out signal reports.

Well, he'd need to learn the difference between an interstate and an
intrastate first...

It seems that you entered the conversation with the confusion when you
responded after Jeffery Herman wrote:

It's paid for with federal funds, thus it's part of the federal
interstate highway system. It's no different from Interstate 405 in
California: It begins in LA and ends in San Diego -- it never leaves the
state yet it's yet it's still an "interstate."

By the way, the Yahoo url with all of the swell information about
intrastate telephone calls was most helpful.

You're not.

But you are a little too smug for most people's tastes. People get the
impression that you think you're someone special.

Do you mean that you find me too smug for your tastes or have you taken

smug for your tastes, I can live with that.

Wow! Is that a "requirement of radio knowledge" to be a "superior'
radio amateur?

Is there a "WAI" (Worked All Interstates) for mobile hams?

I would suppose that a junior college instructor could call themselves
a "part of the University of
Hawaii system" and that they "lecture on mathematics" if they hold
classes under that instructor.

The semester begin tomorrow -- I'll be teaching a calculus class at the
university campus (which is not a "junior college"), 8:30-9:20 MWF,
Keller Hall room 403. The class is full but I'll let you register,
if you think you can handle the class.

Me handle your class? Why should I do that?

Can't you handle it all by yourself? Tsk.

But, the same "mathematics lecturer"
(on the scale of Roger Penrose?) once claimed that the ARRL Amateur's
Handbook was on a "bestseller" listing in the USA...and the American
Bookseller's Association (ABA) couldn't verify that at all. :-)

Go back and read my complete post, paying attention to the phrase
"...technical best seller."

Tsk, tsk, tsk. YOU go back and point at the date and place
it was stated that the ARRL Handbook became a "technical
best seller." [sorry, the ARRL press releases, advertisements,
etc. do NOT count]

Accusing me of lying? Are you sure you want to commit libel?

In here? :-)

Heavens no. In here the PCTA extras redefine words and the
radio world and everything else into their own little fantasyland
desires. They are the "superiors."

"Libel" in here means to say bad things about morsemanship
and say bad things like trying to eliminate the amateur radio
license morse code test. In ANY OTHER NEWSGROUP you
would be guilty of lying. Not here. :-)

BTW, have you worked out the little problem in synchronizing
oscillator frequencies yet? Remember that numbers don't do
the RF generation. Real hardware does.

No, he doesn't.

But a lot of people worldwide who have benefitted from his
knowledge and skills do. ie: me.

There are those who would disagree with you, "bb". My mother, my wife,
my son, my daughter, my friends, those for whom I've done small favors,
the IRS, the DXers for whom I have provided a new country, new band
country or new mode country and a number of others who think I'm

Name them. I can help you start your list:

There's you. There's Len. There's Kim. There's the local guy who
forgets to take his lithium and who has issues. You take it from there.

Answering my same article twice? You replied to it on the 11th with
a different reply. How odd. You're like one of those homeless folks
mumbling to yourself.

I'm still amused about you claiming to have replied to my January
13th post on the 11th, though. Pretending to be a clairvoyant?

So what about my offer made on the 13th? I'll set up a free
online calculus course just for you and we'll post your homework
and exam scores on this NG so everyone can be impressed with your
work. So far, though, you're getting an F.

You never answered my question from last week: How many ex-wives
do you have?
