Dave, you'll kindly explain the refutation. And here's your chance to
go on a dxpedition where your skills would be highly valued. But there's an element of personal danger involved, so nevermind. Sayonara, bb |

Sayonara, bb Don't be coy, "bb". Tell us about how all the cell phones don't stop functioning. Tell us about amateur radio's role in an emergency. I want to hear once again about how all of the infrastructure is never destroyed. The story I posted is in direct conflict with the song sung by you and your newsgroup mentor. Dave K8MN |

Dave,
Do not bother replying to this clown. He is trolling. I kinda feel sorry for him anyway, he probably has no hobbies, no culture and likely no life to speak of. Lloyd |

Everything gets redefined into what the PCTA extras want. It's "their" hang-out, "their" little chat room where everything and anything NOT involving morse code can be talked about, solved, and all those against the morse code test can be defamed and denigrated at their pleasure. The PCTA extras are "superior." They get angry into hissy-fits when some of us don't kiss their divine I/O ports. Posted on 16 Jan 05. |

Yep, they all want to be geographers, weathermen, and spacemen. The PCTA extras are "superior." They get angry into hissy-fits when some of us don't kiss their divine I/O ports. It's so sad. |

Brian, this newsgroup be DIFFERENT than any other newsgroup. No kidding. Yes...[he said, stating the obvious]...this newsgroup is still stuck in the 1920s-1930s time warp of the "skilled radio operator" era when the "skilled" were skilled in morsemanship. Everything gets redefined into what the PCTA extras want. It's "their" hang-out, "their" No, no. "Thier." Ooops, my bad. :-) [I should have included their spelling skill in writing "amatuer" too...] little chat room where everything and anything NOT involving morse code can be talked about, solved, and all those against the morse code test can be defamed and denigrated at their pleasure. Yep, they all want to be geographers, weathermen, and spacemen. They are SO skilled in everything they talk about OUTSIDE of radio subjects... :-) The PCTA extras are "superior." They get angry into hissy-fits when some of us don't kiss their divine I/O ports. It's so sad. True enough. Grown men (apparently, at least physically) gettting all wound up and hissy-fitting about how they are such vital assets to the nation because they are morsemen. Sometimes I think of their actions as "asset-retentive." :-) Tsk. FCC better keep that code test in the regulations or they will "destroy" amateur radio! Posted on 16 Jan 05 |

They get angry into hissy-fits when some of us don't kiss their divine I/O ports. Only time I ever got angry in here was when Brian (W3RV) caught me in a weak moment. It's so sad. If this newsgroup wasn't different from any other newsgroup, there'd be no need to have more than one newsgroup. Everything gets redefined into what the PCTA extras want. It's "their" hang-out, "their" little chat room where everything and anything NOT involving morse code can be talked about, solved, and all those against the morse code test can be defamed and denigrated at their pleasure. You're leaving something out: It is a place where you can hang out, rant endlessly on something in which you play no part and snipe at amateur radio and radio amateurs. The PCTA extras are "superior." It probably just seems that way to a guy with an inferiority complex. They get angry into hissy-fits when some of us don't kiss their divine I/O ports. I don't even know where my divine I/O port is. Posted on 16 Jan 05. It's a shame about all the problems there in the Anderson home comm center. Dave K8MN |
