I'm listening to a young lady right now with the Baptist feeding unit in
Biloxi Mississippi on the Alabama net frequency of 3965 passing messages
to family and friends outside of the disaster area.

Such as "Daddy were alright" Don't worry have not been able to call

And this is for you Len Anderson......take your anti-ham crap and shove
it.

Back to work, thanks to you all for the help you are providing.

Ask frankieboy to turn on his SeeBee and tell us all about the disaster
traffic they are handling.

This just came over 3965...

On 3965, KB7BSA is with the Baptist feeding unit in Biloxi MS.

She just passed this along after sending out 40 Health and Welfare
messages.....

I've always said that ham radio has it's usefulness in certain
situations. This is most definitely one of those situations. But I
have no doubt whatsoever that every -other- mode of communication that
works, radio or not, is being used to it's fullest limitations.

And for some glory seeking hams to declare themselves and their
service to be the exclusive 'heros de jour' is absolutely repulsive,
especially while the situation continues to erode and people continue
to die.

Let me make this -REAL- clear to you, Dan: It's not about ham radio or
any other radio service. It's about the people that are suffering in
this disaster. So instead of thumping your chest while standing on a
pile of rubble and dead bodies, how about you hero-wannabe hammies
show a little dignity and set aside your self-aggrandizing delusions
for a little while?

I have ran several pieces of traffic from the disaster area tonight. Made

It's morons like you who secretly -wanted- something this bad to
happen just so you could have the opportunity to "step up to the
plate". Yep, all those people are suffering and dying so -you- can
feel good about being a ham -- you -should- be proud.

Get some perspective you sick ****.

Don't spin it around on me, Dan. This is one of the worst disasters in
US history and it's not over. But you and other hams are already using
other people's suffering as an opportunity to 'strut your stuff' and
brag about your accomplishments which aren't exactly spectacular --
did you get some food and water to the hungry and thirsty? Did you
pull someone out of the debris? Did you give first aid to the injured?
Of course not. You passed a couple personal messages. That was a big
sacrifice on your behalf, I'm sure.

You want bragging rights? Then go down there, get yourself hip-deep in
the muck, take in the sights and smells, and do something purely for
someone -else's- benefit instead of your own. THEN come back here and
tell us all about it.

You don't get it do you "Frank Gilliland". I'm not bragging....all I'm
doing is TRYING to show you malcontent jerks that Ham Radio is Alive and
Well. And damn sure capable of "earning its pay". But I guess you and your
kind won't ever understand that.

Oh and I'm sorry but the wife won't let me head out to the area. My ability
to walk is very limited. But she volunteered to go do her thing, she is a
Certified Nursing Assistant.

Again "Frank" what are you doing but running your mouth?

Everyone can't be there, nor does everyone need to be there, to help.
Communications is just another way of helping. So what have you and your
wonderful SeeBee radio done to help frankie? Have you pulled anyone out
of the water, gave them food, medicine, fisrt aid? Didn't think so, nor
have you even helped in any other way.

Are you, leennieboy, and an_old_idiot related by chance?

You're statement is more than stupid. I know of no one, radio amateur
or not, who wanted such a tragedy to take place.

Get some perspective you sick expletive deleted.

Wow! It is difficult to believe that one who thinks the way you do,
could accept that it is you who needs the perspective.

The last time I saw anything like this was the rubble we left that used to
be Cholon district of Saigon during TET. I still wake up seeing that.

And to think this moron thinks anyone actually wished for a disaster that
has hit the Gulf Coast of the US is beyond stupid. He is braindead.

Well, thanks to all of you out there that know what is going on. I'm done
dealing with this fool. My break is over, going back to the rig.
