I posted a quiz a while back avoiding 14.100 MHz Few knew the answer -- one sed why not -- it is in the CW portion. as suspected. anything for a few extra points eh ? !! same goes for the qrp spot frequency. and the iaru response ? non-contestors are encouraged to us 10-18-24 during contests !!! what a load of horse-do-do. i've suspected for a long time that rf contests were effectively an "anatomy" measuring contest. my observations last week of the allegedly more-clued-in cw operator left me with the definite impression that there is a growing number who couldnt care less. IARU PSE NOTE. ARRL PSE NOTE i wonder if any of the contest rules actually ban operation on 14100 ? if yes, which ones... i think its time for some check-logs to be sent in. |
