Hello:
What is the "official range for the normail aircraft frequencies ? Is it 118 to 137 MHz, or does it start at 108 ? The same question, please for Military Air Monitoring ? Thanks, Bob |

Below 118, though, you're mostly going to hear navigational (such as ILS) systems and not voice comms. You'll also find some milair (and other stuff such as satellites) from 137-144, but the "official" band is 108-137. The same question, please for Military Air Monitoring ? The "official" band is 225-400 MHz. John Kasupski, KC2HMZ |
