We've had noncodetested Technicians as astroanuts since 1991 - almost 16 years ago. What's the problem? Are you just now beginning to figure this out? None of the spacecraft communications systems use Morse Code or HF. They're all above 30 MHz. As for being skilled - let's just say that all the astronauts have quite an impressive skill set. Could you do what they do? I think not. NASA wanted me but I had to turn them down. To much work to do down here on earth trying to educate radio amateurs on how to be better radio amateurs. SC |
