I have searched this group and have not located any input for the best
all around scanner antenna for ranges 100 mhz to 900 mhhz range for a
handheld. Iam looking for anntenna in the above mentioned ranges with
a BNC connector for the use with my Uniden BC246T... Any and all
suggestions are highly welcomed. Thanks in advance. Stuart

Probably will depend on what you are trying to hear. On my 246T I use a
Radio Shack 800 antenna. I almost only listen to 800MHZ trunked and it does
improve these. When I use it to listen to the County which is in the 100
range it seems to do just as well in most parts of town.
