^ handheld that can cover amatuer bands and aircraft ^ (50,108,144,420mhz). ... 50 channels .... Most scanners have that plus much more. To get just that you'd probably have to go back to a model designed prior to 1990. If that's all you want, just go for the cheapest you can find. But if you want SSB on the ham bands you may need to look at the newer models from Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood, etc., almost anyone but Radio Shack (Realistic). Frank |
