Hi all,

I was wondering what past experiences anyone has had with bringing
scanners aboard Holland America Lines cruise ships, for example if
they're allowed, etc. When I Googled for information, all I found was
an old post by Bill Cheek, nothing up-to-date.

One thing to note: if you are on a cruise which will take you to other
countries (unlike the cruises up in Alaska), you may want to check first
before you take your scanner OFF the ship at any of the stops along the
way. Some countries are a little picky about that sort of thing....
