How well would a Diamond RH77CA hold up mounted outside of a SUV?
"Fred Zalupski" none listed wrote in message ... Diamond RH77CA is very good for wide range scanning and dual band xmit. About 14.75 inches. "Jason Wagner" wrote in message ... I'd like to know if there is a general purpose whip antenna available to cover scanner frequencies up to 1300mhz that will also provide adequate servive for 144/440 ham transmission? I realize that I will not be getting an antenna that is perfectly matched for all frequencies. I will be using a license plate mount and I'd like as thin an antenna as possible to minimize wind loading. Also, I'd be looking for the same in a rubber duck style, 12 inches tops. Any suggestions? Thanks. |
