You are confusing the 780 with the 785. The 780 is strictly analogue,
the 785 has the option of installing a card for digital reception. The 796 can do both analogue and digital, no need for an optional card. --Dan-- KE3UC Groom Lake wrote: It looks like the addition of an APCO BCi25 chip isn't possible with the BC780XLT. Worth telling me there was a socket in there, but when I looked the other day I couldn't find it. |
