With the increased use I see of onboard computers in the police cruisers,
are radio scanners still worth it if you like to listen to what's happening around town? |

"Greg Doughty" wrote in message ... I live in Va. Bch and still use my pro-94 all the time. talk groups are still in use and all the police I talk to are not talking of changing to digital. I think they are worth it depending on what your interests are. Thanks for the response. I am surprised in your response though as I was led to believe that Va. Beach and Chesapeake had already gone digital??? |

You are correct. They have P25 digital for some time. Many of the Va. Beach
talkgroups are in the 60,000 number range. I don't think Chesapeake has totally converted yet to P25. PC Medic wrote: "Greg Doughty" wrote in message ... I live in Va.
