Unless a scanner has two receivers, one cannot hear _full_ duplex on it


oops! my mistake. I just realized you meant "full" duplex, where both parties
are talking at the same time.

You are indeed correct that you can not hear that on a scanner.

You can only hear part of it on a scanner.
