yeah I was looking for a base unit (mainly for
readout and since I dont go mobile with it)... but
the pro 96 did look like a cool radio...

Actually that BC796D sure looks sweet too, Donald,
you mentioned about a new Uniden in about a month,
any leaked info about it (what it may offer above
and or beyond what is on the market today and
now?).
