if it is an MPT1327 system you won't be able to track it at all with
just the 245XLT scanner it is not supported by that scanner, at the moment there is only one scanner than is able to track it and that is the WInradio software radio you will have to find either a motorola or EDACS system Kev Southern Kiwi wrote: "Brian" wrote in message Southern Kiwi, As for where to find the frequencies see if the Communications Authority has a web site you can search, otherwise have a look through Yahoo for groups on New Zealand scanning. Apart from that search the trunk bands for data sounds and see what you recognise. Over the last couple of years a few Motorola trunk systems have also started to pop up around New Zealand as well I understand but I don't really know where they are. The Yahoo group Trunk Scan Australia does have a few New Zealanders on it also that may be able to help you with what your looking for. Brian. Thanks for that Brian, when I find the data channel, do I just put it in the trunked bank? And I will try that Yahoo group Regards Southern Kiwi |
