Scanner shows 'FrErr' on display - not low battery issue. You can enter a

freq
into a channel and it will recieve but will not scan or when you turn it

off
and back on it looses info and shows the 'FrErr'.
Have a working HX1500 and when I interchange the front cover with enclosed

pcb
it now works. Whats in the circuit board in the front cover that might

cause
this?
any ideas? Thanks, Dale
