Hey all,

Just kinda tossing this out there. I am currently using my old TV antenna
for my SC150B and it works pretty well as far as I can tell...I can get most
of the local cops pretty clear as far away as 50 miles or so....I have the
amp/pre-amp hooked up with the FM trap set to "out"....

I guess my question is this: is there any advantage to purchasing and
mounting a new discone style or beam style antenna? I will be upgrading to
a PRO-95 shortly so that I can get the locally trunked cops too.

Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
