Thanks for the input, but I am selling a Pro-43, what does that have
to do with a trunking scanner? Ed Ed: You are fighting a losing battle trying to convince most folks here, but I understand. In fact I think you are undervaluing the Pro-43. To those of us who appreciate the Pro43, it is blasphemy to compare it to the Pro-94. You have to be a Mil Comms Monitor to understand. The Pro-94 does not furnish the Mil UHF band (225-400), nor does it furnish the 138-144 range in AM Mode. Both of those bands enable us Mil Comms Monitors to hear mil acft. Both bands are wonderfully accommodated by the Pro-43, perhaps the most sensitive scanner ever made in those ranges. Also the Pro-43 is excellent for MilSatCom monitoring, even with a decent whip like the Radio Shack center-loaded whip. That is exactly how I listened to MilSatComs today from a Pro-43 I have hanging on my bookcase. You will get double your asking price for the Pro-43 if you advertise it on Email groups or Usenet groups where Mil Comms Monitors hang out. Here they just consider it an old scanner.
