I have a 220 xlt hand-held scanner that scans normally for the programmed frequencies, but it totally unresponsive to any keypad inputs. Has the main CPU gone brain dead, or is it fixable? If the keypad isn't "locked" then the contacts might be dirty. I've had to take my BC200 apart a couple times and pull the rubber membrane/keypad off and clean the copper contacts on the circuit noard. Dry and reassemble and all is well again (until next time). |
