Looks to me like a good solution would be to form a new newgroup:

Rec.Radio.ebay or Rec.radio.auction

for those who need a safe haven to post their auction items.

Personally,I enjoy ebay buying and selling. For my purposes, it's not a
profit machine, just a means of furthering enjoyment of my hobbies by
using new or different equipment.
