Correct, they all moved to 128Kb/s (or less We have here 160 or more, just the traffic announcement program uses 64 kbit/sec, sounding like AM. There are rumours around that Ofcom are to change their guidance to 'not lower than 112Kb/s' sometime soon. Heaven helps us if they do! In the UK it's all about quantity - quality doesn't even get a look in. This is bad, really bad ![]() It'll happen over there. Just give it time:!. Plus the joys of tandem coding etc.. BTW is Bayern Klassik 4 still transmitting at 256 K on DAB it sounds super on satellite )....-- Tony Sayer |
