Default RadioShack Pro 2051

does anyone have any thoughts on the Pro 2051 ???
its on sale now for $149.00
thinking about getting one,(for that price might be worth it)
i live in Canada and not offerd here

I bought one last month, I really like it. Haven't been able to find
any software to use with it at this moment, must be to new, but so far
I'm happy with the unit.

My guess they did not change the simple command language they used on
other scanners. Try software for a 2052 and see if that works for you.

Apparently, they did change it. The other software will not work. The
person who writes the Scancat software has said he is waiting on Radio
Shack for info to finish his software. And someone else (I don't
remember his name) has stopped all development due to this problem. So
this is a good scanner, but maybe not one for computer connection.
