First, as my Dad use to say, there is no such thing as a stupid question.
You don't know and there are probably others that don't. You just took the big step and asked. Bravo! As to the frequencies, I live on the west coast near San Francisco, so I don't have the answers. You might go to various Radio Shacks nearby and ask for frequencies. When I use to work at a RS store, we had ready made lists to hand out of the local freqs. We may have been the exemption there. But most stores will have some knowledge (hopefully) of the local PD, FD, etc. If there are scanner clubs in the area, there can be a wealth of info. If you know any Hams, ask them. Out here in California, we have a guy who publishes whole books on frequencies for the state, broken down by areas. See if there is a Ham store or Scanner store near you. They may have the same idea. Sorry I can't be of more help than that. Let us know what you find, and maybe post some freqs, or tell us where you finally found the info. After all, there's probably someone lurking, just wondering how to find the same info. Oh, as some people will probably say (and it can be oh, so, true) Google is your friend G. Give it a whirl. What have you got to lose? Eric KA6USJ |
