Amplifiers these days are so expensive to buy and yet so simple to build that a lot of hams enjoying rolling their own. Anyone interested should join the Amps reflector at contesting.com or the RFAmplifiers group at yahoo.com, or both. Don't expect to throw one together in a weekend, but do spend some time learning the ins and outs of amp design and go for it. Fun, fun, fun! Bill, W6WRT |
