I'll cast another vote for the DX-399. Mine came with a universal power
supply. The wall wart can run on 110 or 240 volts AC, and there is an
adapter that lets you use US- or European-style outlets. The big
disadvantage is that they were discontinued years ago. I don't know if
you can still buy the wall wart separately. If you can, it will work
with the Sangean 606. You won't be in a tent every night.

I guess that every radio recommended will receive not just SW, but MW
and FM as well, and maybe LW too. You will want to hear the local news
and weather.
