Hows the wbcq signal at your place? I can't seem to get a signal. I'm
about 300mi south and no good signal for days. What say you?

There must be some kind of geomagnetic storm or something. I'm not
hearing much of anyting on HF. The only amateur band with strong
signals is 160 mtrs, Conditions are really poor.

The past week has been terrible for any sort of HF reception around the
great lakes. Hopefully conditions will improve over the next few days
or weeks...

Check this web site. Good reference for solar activity which effects
reception.

300 miles? You are definitely in the skip zone, and when the band goes 'long'
you most likely are not going to hear much of them.
