"Stars line up for 'Simpsons'"

"Radio ratings: Clear Channel's WLW-AM (700) was the big winner in
spring quarter Arbitron ratings, taking first place with all adults in
morning, midday, afternoon and evening ratings."

And there is no other AM for the next 13 ranked positions in the market.

Even your fellow IBOC shills know AM-HD is dead - From Mike Walker
avsforum today:

AM itself is near-death, but HD AM is on nearly every viable AM in the top
75 to 100 markets.

"In-Stat: Digital Radio Set to Take Off"

"In 2006, 73 percent of respondents to an In-Stat U.S. consumer survey
were aware of HD Radio on some level."

http://beradio.com/eyeoniboc/instat-digital-radio-set/

"Sirius, XM, and HD: Consumer interest reality check" (Alexaholic)

"While interest in satellite radio is diminishing, interest in HD
shows no signs of a pulse."

http://www.hear2.com/2007/02/sirius_....html#comments

This just confirms, the lack of interest for HD Radio, on Google
Trends:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22hd... =all&date=all

"Rethinking AM's Future"

"Only 175 or so AM stations have even licensed AM-HD. For a number of
reasons, quite a few have tried it and taken it off the air, or so the
anecdotal evidence suggests. Ibiquity no longer reports in its public
summaries whether a station is on the air."

http://www.rwonline.com/pages/s.0044/t.557.html

Existing RDS has the same texting functions, as HD/IBOC. For now, HD
Radio/IBOC is dead. AM news/talk/sports is alive-and-well - WLW AM is
ranked #1 !

Quite an upward trend in HD Radio interest!

Maybe it's because they are broadcasting in HD!

Please explain what the charts in the two links represent.

This should be very entertaining.

Running Google Trends for just "HD Radio" shows an upward swing during
the 2006 HD Radio ad campaign, but now the graph is falling steeply.
The graph looks impressive at first, but when compared to Sirius and
XM that interest becomes almost a flat-lined:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22hd+radio%22

http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22hd... =all&date=all

Now, watch when I compare "HD Radio" to iPods/MP3s:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=%22hd...o=all&date=all

HD Radio, Sirius, and XM are now juist blips on the screen !

Alexaholic confirms Google Trends:

http://www.alexaholic.com/hdradio.com

http://www.alexaholic.com/hdradio.co...om+xmradio.com

Like it, or not, HD Radio is just about dead, and that goes for HD-AM.

Just like, when they fired then replace Furman, they will find someone
else and remain #1 - WLW AM has been around for decades, and to your
shagrin, isn't going anywhere.

I found your little Arbitron ratings:

http://www.arbitron.com/radio_stations/home.htm

No stations are ranked even close to WLW AM - funny, I checked New
York, for example, and there are a bunch of AMs in the top rankings
ahead of FMs. As usual, you are full-of-**** - be AMs naysayer so this
wonderful, destructive HD-AM can save the AM band. You are simply a
****ing IBOC shill.
