That's an impressive receiver.

What sort of antenna does one employ for reception of 3.3 GHz? Is a
wave guide required or is there sufficiently low-loss coaxial cable
made for that frequency?

Is there an American made equivalent?

Professional communications receiver

Sounds like they finally got the S-AM right - for an additional
$10,000 or so. Sheesh.
