Hello All,

New to the hobby and group and just had a quick question....am getting
no am reception in my office...is that typical or am I doing something
wrong? Just purchased a 7600GR; FM comes in fine but was looking
forward to talk radio at my desk.

Thank you in advance for your help!

The Sony is a pretty good am receiver. Make sure the little slide
switch on the left hand side is all the way up for maximum
sensitivity, and that the slide switch on the right hand side is set
for normal, not synch or ssb. The antenna is quite directional, so you
could try rotating the radio for best reception. I doubt if any other
radio would do much better. You will have to punch in the am
freqencies you want to listen to.
