These are actually good words of advice. If it's off-topic, don't
post it. If it's off-topic, then don't reply. ANd then any cross-posting
doesn't matter because you won't be replying since it's off-topic.

The more you continue with junk threads like this, the more you damage
the newsgroup.

And at this point, you don't really seem to be participating in
rec.radio.shortwave, just using it to post off topic stuff.

Find somewhere else to do it.

Michael

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" "
I looked up your post activities and found 4 of your off-topic posts
in the last week. I note that you have posted to 20 different sites in
the last week, and in your long history, have posted 11,413 messages
to 143 groups. If you would stop flitting around the net like a gadfly
and settle someplace you would have learned that I do post
rec.radio.items.
You would also have learned that Cuhulin, who you would call a
"destroyer of the website" is actually an asset. His Dada-like posts
(look it up) are real mind-stretchers and their underlying logic is
existential (quite unconscious, of course). But you will never know
that because you will have visited 6 websites before he gets
something down.
I have read your posts for the last week to find out if you are
quite allright and I must say I see signs of obsessive-compulsive and
a rigid inability to adapt to changing times. Let me quote from your
post of May 19 at 2:31 pm in your post in "Who is Uni?.

"......I am slowly leaving newsgroups that I've read and posted
to for a decade because there is too much off-topic junk
posted
by regulars (who admittedly have been around for some years),
but who do not predate my presence in the newsgroup as a
hangout where the actual topic of the newsgroup is irellevant
other
than some originally common interest.
So instead of finding a place to discuss the weather (such
as
local newsgroups), finding a place to discuss politics (such as a
political newsgroup), and finding a place to ask about
their
computer problem (such as a computer newsgroup) they post
away.

From all this you seem to say that the internet is evolving to sites

where people know each other quite well and are leaving the specialist
sites, and you don't like it. I only post on this one site and it is
quite enough for me. There are reasons why rec.radio.shortwave is
evolving (it has over 1000 registered) because it is a hangout based
on some original common interest. The topics are those of people who
are interested in shortwave but like to talk about other things. You
intrude with your uninvited hectoring but to no avail.
One definition of insanity is to do the same thing over and over
and expect a different outcome. Keep it up and you will drive yourself
nuts. The times, they are a-changing. Remember King Canute.

Default bush Is The Worst!

Way back in 2000, Bush and his secret aide George H. Scherff Jr. were
together on election night using a giant Tesla Coil to pull the chads
off of ballots in a key precinct in Broward country, Florida. Somehow
this story got convoluted, resulting in an identity crisis surrounding
Bush.
