As Mr. Eduardo is so quick to point out, DXers don't pay the bills. So the industry as a whole is willing to risk something like IBOC to revive earnings. It's a kludge; there might be better options; but it's not going away soon. And that sucks for distance listening on older equipment. New equipment might actually open up new kinds of DX. We just don't know yet. IBOC = QRM, and Edweenie is a fake Hispanic! |
