Default Bigger RFI threat than BPL, IBOC?

Two issues:

How do you stop the neighbors from stealing your power? (or someone like
me who would make a resonate trap to capture it and short it to ground)

If people are concerned enough not to purchase a house under powerlines,
Broadcast & cellphone towers, how do they expect to get away with
something with much higher power levels?

I'm guessing this scheme would have to be adaptive to be practical. So
both the loading of the tuned circuits and the frequency of operation would
be variable to maximize coupling under different conditions. If the system
sensed excessive losses it would shift frequency.

Not everybody is concerned. Plenty of people live under powerlines and near
broadcasters and cellphone towers. It seems like half the people have a
cellphone permanently attached to their heads.

"Old outmoded government regulations" would be a bigger impediment to such
"progress". Military and amateur frequencies would be protected, but the SW
broadcast bands could be fair game.
