Alice Springs.

Last night, signal was much weaker. So I guess propagation varies a
lot.

I wonder if they use NVIS (near-vertical incidence signal) techniques
like NBC Port Morseby PNG does on 4890 Khz. Outback Australia seems
like it was made for NVIS shortwave.

again.
I guess the tsunami permanently knocked it off the air?
