Hey thanks for the link. I was a fan of KPEN and KIOI back in the 60's James Gabbert and Gary Gielow WERE real INOVATORS The station was notable for being the first licensed FM station in the nation to broadcast in stereo. KPEN's technological achievements wer recognized by the Electronic Industry Association, the FCC, and President John F. Kennedy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KIOI I used to listen on a Scott stereo FM tuner and they would transmit on one channel only for a few minutes during which I'd adjust the transformers for minimum sound on the other channel. Great fun and sounds Lamont |
