Last name? I'll ask her. I mentioned you, and the amp business, but
I
don't
think she's lived there for awhile.

She did mention four bars and two gas stations! Seemed like a neat
little
town,
and she said it was. It's always interesting to meet folks and find
out
how
connected we all really are.

Yea it's a nice place to live. It's mellow. My wifes last name is
Tri.

Ok. I'm sure I'll run into her in the next week or so and I'll ask. Is
that an
Asian last name by any chance?

No. Shes blond blue eys. Her family is french and english I think?

Interesting! However, my other reply is in the air!

Yea it's one of those quick Ellis Island names they were handing out around
the turn of the century, I think?

Actually, I'm sure it is. For some reason that brought
back some memories to me. Some happy, some sad. I once worked with a nice
fellow
with the last name of Bui. We shared many common memories, but he was
always kinda
ticked off at me because we passed so many folks by in the days following
the
evacuation of South Viet Nam. I always tried to explain that there was no
way that
we could have rescued everyone, and that I was certainly not in charge!

I learned the true meaning of being powerless then.

Yea Steve, Your not the first Vet I've heard say that. Can't even imagine
being there and actually seeing it. Those poor people. I imagine Tri could
be an Asian name easily.
