Thee were roughly 600 thousand deaths in Dresden in *one night*. That is more than Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. There were NO arms manufacturing plants there, or any military bases. There were roughly 25,000 deaths in Dresden in one night -- due to a firestorm started by UK bombers. US bombers were focused on hitting the railyards, a legitimate target, and had nothing to do with the firestorm. |
